Happy Birthday

Today my little boy turned 4. He was born at 1:20 in the afternoon after 23 hours of labor. We had to have a c section but he finally made it here. After 4 days in the hospital he had to be med flighted to Baptist and we finally got to take home a completely healthy 7 day old baby boy. We were worn out and had been scared out of our minds for a little while but God truly answered all of our prayers and showed us complete peace and comfort during that scare. This little boy is my gift and blessing from God. I thank God all the time for allowing me the privilege of being his mom. There is only one other gift that tops the gift of children and that is the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross for my and your sins. How awesome the gift of children but the love God shows us is far greater than the love we can show for our own children. How mind blowing it is at times and I am so glad I get to receive it.
